Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Use and works alongside our Community Guidelines. It applies to everyone who uses YakDil.

YakDil is a halal, marriage-intent platform for the global Muslim community. To keep it safe, the conduct and content below are strictly prohibited. Breaking this policy leads to immediate removal, and where the law requires or permits it, preservation of records and reporting to law enforcement and the appropriate authorities.

1. Age restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to use YakDil. We require a date of birth at sign-up and refuse anyone below that age. Anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited from creating a profile or using the service, and any account we find to belong to a minor is removed immediately.

2. Illegal acts

You may not use YakDil for any unlawful purpose, or to plan, promote, facilitate, or carry out any activity that is illegal under any law that applies to you or to us. You may not use the service in, or on behalf of anyone in, a sanctioned or embargoed region.

3. Prohibited content and behaviour

The following are never allowed on YakDil, with zero tolerance:

• Sexually explicit content. No nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit or suggestive material in profiles, photos, messages, names, or anywhere else on the service.
• Child sexual exploitation or abuse (CSAE/CSAM). Any sexual content involving, or the sexualisation of, a minor is absolutely forbidden. We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities and cooperate fully with them.
• Sexual violence. Content or behaviour that depicts, threatens, incites, glorifies, or normalises sexual assault, rape, or any other sexual violence is prohibited.
• Non-consensual content. Sharing or threatening to share intimate, private, or sexual images or information about another person without their consent (including “revenge” content), and any other non-consensual sexual content, is prohibited.
• Human and sex trafficking. Facilitating, advertising, arranging, or in any way enabling human trafficking, sex trafficking, forced or coerced marriage, prostitution, escorting, or commercial sexual services is prohibited.
• Scams and fraud. Romance scams, catfishing, phishing, extortion, requests for money, gifts, investments, or financial information, and any other activity intended to deceive or defraud other members are prohibited.
• Harassment, hate, and abuse. Harassment, stalking, threats, hate speech, impersonation, or aiding, abetting, or encouraging the abuse or exploitation of any person.
• Evasion. Attempting to move conversations off-platform to avoid our safety measures, creating accounts to evade a ban, or bypassing any protection built into the service.

4. Reporting and enforcement

Every member can report or block another member from their profile or chat. We review reports and may remove content, suspend or permanently ban accounts, preserve relevant records, and report to law enforcement. See our Safety Center and Law Enforcement Guidelines.
