Law Enforcement Guidelines
How law enforcement can request information from YakDil (operated by Saedi Group LLC).
We take the safety of our members seriously and cooperate with valid legal requests from law enforcement. This page explains how to submit a request and what we need in order to respond.
How to submit a request
Send legal process and law-enforcement requests to support@yakdil.com with the subject line “Law Enforcement Request”. Please send the request from an official government or agency email address, on official letterhead where possible.
What to include
So we can locate the correct account and respond, please include: the requesting officer’s name, agency, badge/ID and contact details; the specific account identifier (the member’s registered email address or profile identifier); a clear description of the information sought; and the legal basis for the request. We can only act on requests supported by valid legal process appropriate to the requesting jurisdiction (for example a subpoena, court order, or warrant), or a documented emergency.
Emergency requests
If the request relates to an emergency involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm, write “EMERGENCY” in the subject line and describe the nature of the emergency, the person at risk, and why the information is needed to prevent the harm. We will review emergency requests as quickly as we can.
What we can provide
We can only disclose information we actually hold, and only to the extent permitted by law and our Privacy Policy. Some data is retained only for a limited period, and deleted-account data may no longer be available. Requests for stored content may require a higher level of legal process than requests for basic account records.
Preservation requests
If you need us to preserve account records while you obtain legal process, send a preservation request to the address above identifying the account; we will take reasonable steps to preserve available data for a limited period pending your formal request.
Notice to members
Our policy is to notify members of requests for their information before disclosure unless we are legally prohibited from doing so, or where we believe notice would create a risk to safety.
This page is provided for informational purposes and does not waive any legal rights or objections, and is not a submission address for civil matters between members. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
